Forge Venue presents:
Traditional Spanish Music
Thursday 28 June @ The Forge, London
Maria Camahort – guitar and arrangements
Violeta García – voice and violin
Laura Ruhi – soprano
Sergio Serra – cello
Pablo Domínguez - percussion
Spanish traditional music has always been an important source of inspiration for classical composers. Especially since the end of 19th century, Spanish composers such as Falla, Mompou, or Granados have been influenced by the stories and flavour of Spanish traditional music, being the guitar one of the main sources of inspiration.
Maria Camahort, together with other four brilliant musicians, brings to The Forge an evening of Classical Music with a different approach, aiming to share with the audience the musicality, alongside the stories and flavours that are held in the music of Spanish composers.
