About us



  • How do I buy tickets?

Online – from our What’s On section. Booking online is the best way to ensure that you get a ticket for any of our events.
On the door – If tickets are still available, you can also buy a ticket at the door. The box office usually opens half an hour before an event and we can only take cash at the door.
We cannot book tickets over the phone.

  • What is an e-ticket?

All our online tickets are e-tickets. When you purchase your ticket you will be sent a confirmation email. You can then print this and bring along to the performance. If you have any problems receiving your e-ticket, please email If you buy a ticket on the door, you will be given a stamp or a token.

  • Can I buy a concession ticket?

Our concessions include OAPs, students, under 16s, MU members and ISM members. You will be required to show proof of age, an NUS card or your MU or ISM membership card at the door.


  • What time does the event start?

Please check the start time for each event on our What’s On page and our social media sites. The times listed are usually what time the doors open for the concert. Generally our evening classical events start at 7:30pm and our other evening gigs start at 8 or 9pm. Our weekend events usually begin at 7:30pm with DJ’s or warm up acts, with headline acts performing at around 9pm.

  • What is the seating like?

Our events are sometimes seated and sometimes standing, or a mixture. Seating is always unreserved and is either in rows or at tables depending on an event.


  • How do I get to The Forge?

We are just around the corner from both Camden Town and Mornington Crescent stations (Northern line), 10 minutes walk from Camden Road station (Overground), and nearby bus routes include 24, 27, 29, 31, 88, 134, 168, 214, 253, 274 and C2.

  • Can I park nearby?

The Forge has no on-site parking and we highly recommend where possible that you take public transport.

There is a carpark 5 minutes walk away on Pratt Street (open until 8pm), a carpark near St. Pancras station (open until 11pm, 5-10 mins by bus or tube) and a 24 hour carpark at Euston Station (20 mins walk or 5-10 minutes by bus or tube). There is free parking in certain areas around the venue from 6:30pm on weekdays and from 5:30pm on weekends.


  • When are your office hours?

As a small team you may find that there is no one in the office when you ring. The best way to contact us is by email.

  • Is the venue disability accessible?

Yes, we are entirely accessible. If you wish to attend an event and have specific requirements, please phone us on 0207 383 7808 to discuss how we can help.

  • Is the venue family friendly?

Yes we are – children are welcome at most concerts so long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult, and there is plenty of space to store prams and pushchairs. On Friday and Saturday evenings the venue is restricted to 18+ only from 10pm onwards.

  • Does The Forge serve food?

This summer The Forge plays host to The Forge Cantina – a Latin American food residency, upstairs at The Forge all summer! We’ve taken inspiration from our many world music events, and worked closely with our South and Latin American promoters to develop an authentic menu of delicious filled arepas from Venezuela, Cuban sandwiches, feijoada from Brazil, yuca fries, plantain chips and more.

  • How do I keep up to date with The Forge?
